MMFF Winners - 'Manila Kingpin' Sweeps 11 Awards
The MMFF Winners were revealed last December 28, 2011 at the Resorts World Performing Arts Theater. Check it out!
"Manila Kingpin: The Untold Story of Asiong Salonga"--the hardcore action movie among the MMFF entries this year--was the big winner this year by bagging 11 awards including Best Picture, Best Director for Tikoy Aguiluz (sans the controversy), Gatpuno Villegas Cultural Award, Best Supporting Actor for John Regala, and a handful of technical awards.
