Tim Tebow Announces the Tebow CURE Hospital of the Philippines
Tim Tebow, an American football superstar who was born in Makati City, has announced the Tebow CURE Hospital of the Philippines, the first project of the partnership between the Tim Tebow Foundation and CURE International.
“Our first project together will be a new children's hospital in the Philippines,” Tebow announced in his foundation’s website http://timtebowfoundation.org/.
“I've always have a special place in my heart for the country in which I was born and I'm very excited about this project,” he added.
The Tebow CURE Hospital is about to rise in Davao City. Construction begins on January 2012 and expected to finish by mid-2013.
The NFL superstar, known for praying during football games, was born to American parents who were serving as Baptist missionaries in the Philippines.
