Erin Andrews vs Michael Barrett/West End Marriot Over 'Peeping Tom' Case
Erin Andrews, the ESPN reporter (who also appeared in the reality show "Dancing with the Stars"), has filed a $10 million lawsuit against stalker Michael Barrett and West End Marriot Hotel.
It can be recalled that in 2008, Erin Andrews was videotaped nude through a peephole of her hotel room at West End Marriot in Nashville, Tennessee.
The suit was originally filed last year and was refiled on Wednesday. Andrews is asking for $4 million from her stalker Michael Barrett, who plead guilty and sentenced in 2010 to 2 and a half years imprisonment, and another $6 million from the West End Marriott for negligence.
The 33-year-old ESPN reporter said the surveillance and the posting of nude images of her still causes her "great emotional distress and embarrassment."
