Ram Revilla Murdered, His Brother Sen. Bong Revilla Furious
Ram Revilla, the half-brother of Sen. Bong Revilla, was reportedly killed in a shooting and stabbing incident at his BF Homes, Parañaque City home at dawn today, Saturday, October 29.
Ram Revilla is a 22-year-old part-time actor and politician and a son of former Senator Ramon Revilla Sr. and Genelyn Magsaysay.
According to his half-brother Sen. Bong Revilla, Ram was with his girlfriend Janelle Manahan when a gunman wearing a bonnet entered his home, shot and stabbed both of them.
Police report said the gunman used a .45 caliber gun in shooting the couple before stabbing them with a knife.
Ram was declared dead on arrival at the Parañaque Medical Center after sustaining gun shots and multiple stab wounds.
His girlfriend, on the other hand, also sustained gun shots and stab wound on the left side of her face and shoulder but she survived. Manahan is reportedly in stable condition now and under observation at the Asian Hospital in Alabang.
Ram's sister, Ramona Revilla, was also in the house when the incident happened. The suspect allegedly took Ramona with them but dropped her off in front of a mall an hour later.
Aside from Ramona, 4 other people--3 household help and Ram’s production assistant--were also in the house at the time of the incident. They are now being questioned by police.
In a radio interview, Senator Bong Revilla said his brother has no enemies that's he's aware of.
"Wala akong alam na may kagalit dito. Ang alam ko, gusto niya... nag-aambisyon siya na tumakbo na konsehal sa bayan ng Imus [Cavite]. Mabait na tao ito, wala akong masabing masama," he said.
The senator is condemning the people behind this crime and vows to find justice for his brother's death.
