Tony Velasquez Campaigns for Mainstream Use of E-Vehicles in 'Krusada'
Veteran news anchor Tony Velasquez goes alternative this Thursday (Oct 13) in “Krusada” to lobby the use of e-vehicles, or vehicles run by electricity, as solution to the country’s persisting transport problems.
Aside from oil price hikes that are usually followed by increases in transportation fares, regular automobile transport puts people at a great risk of developing respiratory diseases for their exposure to densely polluted air.
Tony believes that the use of e-vehicles can become mainstream through technological advancement spurred by government and public support.
To test their stability and reliability, Tony will personally operate the e-jeepneys in Makati and the e-tricycles in Mandaluyong. Is the country ready for this cleaner and modern means of transportation?
