Gwendolyn Ruais Makes It to Miss World 2011 Top Model and Beach Beauty Shortlists
Miss Philippines Gwendolyn Ruais is making her presence felt in Miss World 2011 by making it to the shortlist of the pageant's Beach Beauty and Top Model fast-track events.
Our very own Gwendolyn Ruais is actually one of the favorites to win the Beach Beauty fast-track event in Miss World 2011.
From 113 contestants, here are the 32 semi-finalists vying for the Beach Beauty title:
Argentina, Aruba, Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, France, England, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Korea, Belarus, Israel, Kazakhstan, Martinique, Mauritius, Moldova, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Northern Ireland, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Russia, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, St Barthelemy, Sweden, Uganda, Ukraine, United States, US Virginia Islands, Venezuela, Wales, and Zimbabwe.
Aside from the Beach Beauty Fast Track, Gwendolyn also made it to the semifinals of the Top Model fast track event.
Other contestants who made it to the shortlist (Top 20) of this competition were misses Albania, Argentina, Australia, Barbados, Bolivia, China PR, England, France, India, Italy, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Martinique, Sweden, Ukraine, Venezuela and Zimbabwe.
Miss World 2011 Top Model Fast Track was held at Marriott Country Hall, London on October 29, 2011 along with Beach Beauty Fast Track.
The winner of Beach Beauty and Top Model will automatically get a slot in the semi-finals of Miss World 2011 this November 6.
