Dimples Romana Evicted Herself as 'Showtime' Judge to Save Ryan Bang
Dimples Romana sacrificed her privilege of being a "Showtime" judge to save Ryan Bang from leaving the show.
The drama unfolded yesterday (October 8), when Ryan Bang was finally evicted as "hurado" from the ABS-CBN talent variety program after an astounding 48 weeks. Ryan got 25.63% of eviction votes, the second highest among the four judges, while Dimples got 18.91%, the second lowest.
As we all know, the two highest vote-getters will be the "burado" or the judges who will get the boot. After learning the results, Ryan Bang broke into tears. Some of the hosts like Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis also cried because they've been with Ryan for more than a year.
This is the moment when Dimples Romana decided to announce that she's evicting herself to reinstate Ryan Bang as a Showtime judge.
I don't know if the rules allow such thing but it seemed to work.
