UP Pep Squad is UAAP's Cheerdance Champion (Video)

UP Pep Squad bagged the UAAP Cheerdance Competition title for second consecutive year!
The cheerdancing team of the University of the Philippines (UP) who colored their hair blonde won the 2011 Samsung UAAP Cheerdance Competition which was held at the Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, September 17, 2011.
The Diliman-based cheerdancers wowed the 20,000 viewers at the Big Dome with their highly energetic Madonna-inspired routine.
The team took home P340,000 cash prize while its member Nesza Salvador was chosen as the "2011 Samsung Stunner" and awarded with a Samsung ST700 camera.
Placing second was The De La Salle University (DLSU) Animo Squad followed by Far Eastern University (FEU) Cheering Squad who settled for 3rd.
The University of Sto. Tomas (UST) Salinggawi Dance Troupe and Adamson University (AdU) Pep Squad ended at 4th and 5th respectively, while the National University (NU) Pep Squad took home the 6th spot. Ateneo Blue Babble Battalion was 7th placer and University of the East (UE) Pep Squad was 8th overall.
