Anne Curtis is Smoking a Cigarette on the Cover of Rogue Magazine
Anne Curtis became the second celebrity this month to cover a magazine holding a cigarette.
It's interesting to note that Nora Aunor's cover for YES! Magazine featuring the Superstar holding a cigarette and which was unveiled earlier this week received flak from the Philippine Medical Association, who are spearheading the Smoke Free Philippines campaign.
According to PMA, celebrities like Nora Aunor (and now Anne Curtis for that matter) should set an example to their followers. And posing for a magazine cover smoking or holding a cigar will only encourage people to follow them. Father Robert Reyes, who is also a member of the PMA's Smoke Free Philippines campaign, described it as "insensitive" and "scandalous."
Will Anne Curtis receive the same criticism now that's she's on the cover of Rogue holding a cigarette?
