Koreanovela 'Runaway' Starring Rain is Partly Shot in the Philippines
The Koreanovela which was partly shot in the Philippines and co-produced by TV5 is now set to premiere on Philippine television this June 11.
"Runaway" (also known as "Runaway: Plan B") is about a famous private investigator named Jiwoo, portrayed by K-Pop superstar Rain ("Full House," "A Love to Kill" and "Ninja Assasin"). He is the investigator assigned to solve the mysterious death of an Asian couple in Las Vegas. To buy him more time to look into the case, he dismissed it as suicide. This then garnered him a lot of money and a reputation that he is a very reliable investigator. All the excitement and high action adventure started here.
Watch his adventures unfold throughout Seoul, Japan, Macau, Hongkong and the Philippines! Definitely not your typical series, Runaway combines high action, suspense, drama and comedy.
Also starring in "Runaway" are Korean drama favorites like Daniel Henney who starred in top-rating Koreanovelas “My Name is Kim Sam Soon” and “Spring Waltz” and Hollywood movie “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, Lee Na Young (“Ruler of Your Own World”, “High Kick Through The Roof”), Lee Jungjin (“I Love You, Don’t Cry”, “Love Story in Harvard”), Yoon Sun Ha (“Love Greeting,” “Did We Really Love”).
"Runaway" is set to premiere on Philippine primetime television this Monday, June 11, 2012 on TV5.
