Bernadette Sembrano Delves Into Proper Waste Management in 'Krusada'
Broadcast journalist Bernadette Sembrano will report on the harmful costs of improper waste disposal as well as a profitable method of discarding waste materials at her own backyard tomorrow (June 7) in “Krusada.”
More flooding is expected to occur in the metro as the rainy season has already begun. But the problem might also be aggravated due to people’s indiscriminate throwing of solid trash in public places, causing gutters and drainage systems to clog and trigger flooding.
In her report, Bernadette will also demonstrate how to minimize impact on the environment by reducing waste and proper segregation by showing her and her husband Orange Aguinaldo’s garbage reselling business.
“We already know what the problem is but what is the solution? Don’t we have enough ordinances to solve it? Or do we simply lack discipline in properly disposing of waste?” she said.
Because it takes more than words to take a stand, watch Bernadette’s report in “Krusada” tomorrow (June 7) after “Bandila” on ABS-CBN or watch it earlier on DZMM TeleRadyo (SkyCable Channel 26), 9:15 p.m.
