Jessica Sanchez Breezes to American Idol's Top 6
Jessica Sanchez survives another elimination on American Idol on Thursday evening (US Time) making it to the Top 6 of the reality singing competition.
During the Top 7 results show, Jessica Sanchez was not even called in the bottom three.
According to Ryan Seacrest, 53 million votes were received yesterday, the highest for season 11. It's believed to be the first time the total was announced in the live shows, well because it's a big number. I wonder how many of those votes came from outside the US?
By the way, Jimmy Iovine apologized for Jessica's song choice. He said it was too old for her. Hope Jessica will pick a song that will showcase her vocal prowess. Like the Celine Dion song that she sang on America's Got Talent or perhaps songs like "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing," Steven Tyler will surely love that.
Anyway, Congratulations to Jessica Sanchez for making it to the Top 6!
Before the results, former Idol winner Kris Allen sang his new single "Vision of Love."
Also, LMFAO performed “Sorry for Party Rocking.”
