Jessica Sanchez Expected to Break the Guys' Winning Streak on Idol
Jessica Sanchez is said to be the one to beat on American Idol season 11 because of her amazing maturity as an artist. For a 16-year-old, Jessica exemplified control in her singing that earned her 3 standing-ovations in recent episodes.
But the problem, according to producer and mentor Jimmy Iovine, majority of voters on American Idol lately are young girls who tend to vote for male contestants. It was proven true in the last 5 years with David Cook in season 7, Kris Allen in season 8, Lee Dewyze in season 9 and Scotty McCreery in season 10.
This season, two male contestants have huge fanbase comprised of mostly girls 12 to 18 years old, and they are the heartthrob-looking Phillip Phillips and Colton Dixon.
But Iovine reiterated that girl power should prevail this year.
“At 16 years old, Jessica has managed to harness enough experience like she’s been here for 10 years singing like this. What she’s doing with her vocals at each and every moment of building that song, is something that people who have been doing it 20 years have difficulty doing. She got lost in that song, yet kept her composure. I am fully on board with this. I don’t know how this voting pans out. But I do know that young girls tend to vote for young guys–seen by the last 5 years of who’s won and lost this thing. But I think what we need right now is a little girl power,” he said.
With her vocal fireworks, Jessica is being expected to break the guys' winning streak on American Idol. If she succeed, she will be the first female winner of the show in 5 years.

John Carter Rules PHL's Box Office for 2nd Consecutive Week
John Carter, a sci-fi movie from Walt Disney starring the controversial actor Taylor Kitsch, led Philippine box office on its second consecutive week. The scifi film has grossed P25.52 million last weekend.Local horror movie “Corazon: Ang Unang Aswang” opened at no. 2 with a a 5-day gross of P20.5 million, followed by the animated movie “Lorax” which debuted with P12.87 million.
GMA Films’ “My Kontrabida Girl” opened at no. 4 with a 5-day gross of P6.7 million followed by “Mirror Mirror” which debuted with P6.47 million.

The Hunger Games Breaks Advanced Ticket Sales Record
The Hunger Games is an upcoming sci-fi action drama film directed by Gary Ross based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins.It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth. The film is directed by by Gary Ross (Seabiscuit, Pleasantville).
Fueled by high praises from various film critics, “The Hunger Games” broke records for advanced ticket sales on the site Fandango. The sales were reported to be 83% of the site’s totals, toppling the previous record-holder, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, which set a record on May 14, 2010.

Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. Andy Lau Plants a Kiss on Eugene Domingo at the Asian Film Awards Night
Andy Lau, Hong Kong superstar, planted a kiss on the cheek of Eugene Domingo during the Asian Film Awards night at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center last March 19, where the Filipina comedienne and dramatic actress Shamaine Buencamino emerged victorious.

Eugene Domingo won the People's Choice Award for Favourite Actress for the Philippine entry to the Oscars, "Ang Babae sa Septic Tank" (The Woman in The Septic Tank). She bested Vidya Balan of "The Dirty Picture" (India), Michelle Chen of "You Are the Apple of My Eye" (Taiwan), Leila Hatami of "Nadir and Samin: A Separation," and Deanie Ip of "A Simple Life" (Hong Kong) for the citation.
Shamaine Buencamino, on the other hand, bagged the Best Supporting Actress award for "Niño." She defeated Gwen Lun-mei of "The Flying Swords of Dragon Gate" (Hong Kong/ Mainland China), Cris Horwang of "Headshot" (Thailand), Mitsushima Hikari of "Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai" (Japan), and Yan Ni of "11 Flowers" (Mainland China/France).
The highlight of the entire awards night was when Eugene Domingo accepted her Favourite Actress trophy together with Andy Lau, the People's Choice Award winner for Favourite Actor. Before giving her hilarious acceptance speech, she held up her mobile phone to take a picture of herself together with Lau.
"I waited 25 years for this," she said as the audience laughed out loud.

Carmina Villaroel has no issues if ever an interview with former flame Rustom Padilla, a.k.a. BB Gandanghari, becomes a possibility in her showbiz talk show on ABS-CBN, Showbiz Inside Report.In an interview by PEP, Carmina said that she and Rustom/BB have moved-on that's why she doesn't see any problem if ever she got the chance to conduct a one-on-one interview with him.

Dennis Trillo Accepts Villain Role in Upcoming Comedy Movie 'Boy Pick-up'
Dennis Trillo is one actor we know who is not picky when being offered various roles on television and the big screen.He already played a number of lead roles in the past and yet he accepted the villain role in the upcoming GMA Films comedy movie “Boy Pick-Up,” which is topbilled by singer/comedian Ogie Alcasid.
“Boy Pick-Up” is actually a spin-off of the character of Ogie Alcasid from the longest-running gag show in GMA-7, “Bubble Gang.” The popularity of the said segment prompted the network to produce a movie under GMA Films with an accompanying soundtrack under GMA Records.
Dennis Trillo will play the role of “Bagwis,” the same character that he is doing in the Bubble Gang segment.

Vice Ganda switched from being a Calayan endorser to being one of the faces of rival beauty clinic, Belo.
In an interview by PUSH.ph, Vice Ganda made it clear that he made the switch because his contract with Calayan has already expired.

Brown recluse spider is now causing arachnophobia to some people after the news about how it nearly blinds a girl from Texas surfaced.

The brown recluse spider is now considered more dangerous than the highly-dreaded black widow because of the way its venom affects the human victim and not just how poisonous it is.
A bite from the brown recluse spider causes necrosis, a premature death of cells in living tissue (treated via surgery), and this is why people should avoid this spider at all cost.
Bites from the brown recluse can be excruciating and it takes months before it heals. Aside from the nasty scar, typical side effects of the attack include dizziness, fever and muscle soreness.
Few deaths were reported as a result of getting bitten, mostly children and elderly individuals.
A study by graduate student Erin Saupe of University of Kansas predicted that the brown recluse spider is slowly spreading in the US. By 2020, by using computer modeling, the possible migration of these spiders can move towards Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and New York.
The brown recluse became popular after the report on a student from Texas named Nikki Perez surfaced. Perez was bitten at the Amarillo airport last September 2011 and lost part of her ear and nearly lost her eye sight after being hospitalized for 5 days.

Rocco Nacino Bags Title Role in Epic Movie 'Lam-Ang'
Rocco Nacino bested other aspirants by being chosen to star in the launching movie of Sarindangan Films titled "Lam-Ang."
According to the epic movie's director Ana Agabin, it was the film who chose Rocco Nacino and not the other way around.
“Hindi ko pinili si Rocco for the title role… The film chose him. He looks the part. May comic timing siya, simpatiko, maganda ang attitude and has the right presence. Mahusay siyang umarte at ma-galing sa improvisations. Pangatlo siya sa mga nag-audition pero bago pa matapos ang gabi, desidido na kaming nakita na namin si Lam-Ang kay Rocco," she said.
Fresh from his New Movie Actor of the Year nomination from Star Awards and Breakthrough Performance by an Actor nomination from the Golden Screen Awards for his performance in the Cinemalay movie "Ang Sayaw ng Dalawang Kaliwa ang Paa," Rocco Nacino is excited to start working for the said movie. As a matter of fact, he's undergoing fight scene training and also fitness training to look more buff for the role of "Lam-Ang."
“Sobra akong excited kasi napakaganda ng project. It’s a role of a lifetime. Pagbubutihin ko talaga para hindi ako mapahiya. Napakalaking proyekto nito at asahan ninyong ibibigay ko ang lahat para masabing karapat-dapat ako sa role,” he said.
The camera will start rolling for the Ilocano epic movie before Holy Week and its filming locations include Vigan and Tagudin.
Rocco's co-mainstay in Party Pilipinas, Rochelle Pangilinan, will be his leading lady. Other cast-members include Sharmaine Buencamino, Art Acuña, Alchris Gallura, Nathaniel Britt, Kokoy delos Santos and Alchris Gallura.

Fernan Angeles Shot in Pasig, Malacañang Releases Statement
Fernan Angeles, a reporter from The Daily Tribune, was shot near his home in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig, around 10:00pm last night, March 11, 2012 according to Pasig City Police chief Sr. Supt. Jesse Cardona.Angeles, 41, sustained six gunshot wounds and a bone fracture and was said to be in critical condition as of this posting.
Angeles' wife Gemma claims the attack could be connected to his work. She said her husband went out to buy cellphone load at that time.

Kris Bernal is one of the few actresses whose tv programs have been consistently hit in the ratings. Her previous soaps were in fact nationwide topraters in one time or another like "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin" in 2009, "Koreana" in 2010 and "Hiram na Puso" this year.
If Marian Rivera is GMA-7's Primetime Queen for having primetime series that were hits in TV ratings, Kris Bernal, on the other hand, should be the Kapuso Network's Soap Opera Princess.
And speaking of Marian Rivera, some people have noticed that Kris Bernal has a slight resemblance to GMA-7's hottest property and that they can portray sister roles perfectly.
In an interview by PEP, the 22-year-old actress said she's flattered by the observation.
"Talaga? Hindi naman," is her modest reply.
The "Hiram na Puso" star also expressed her admiration to the Kapuso Primetime Queen.
"'Pag nakikita ko siya, hindi ako nagsasawa sa face niya," Bernal added.
If she can maintain her winning streak, who knows, perhaps Kris Bernal will become the next Marian Rivera. Since they look alike in some ways, perhaps GMA-7 is building her up so she can conquer primetime one day and could become the next "Dyesebel," "Darna" or "Amaya"?

Justin Bieber's comments in an interview by Rolling Stone recently sparked controversy.
When asked whether a person should wait until marriage to have sex, Bieber responded, "I don't think you should have sex with anyone unless you love them."
When asked about his opinion on abortion, Bieber said he does not "believe in abortion" and that it is "like killing a baby". When asked about abortion in cases of rape, he said, "Well, I think that's really sad, but everything happens for a reason. I don't know how that would be a reason. I guess I haven't been in that position, so I wouldn't be able to judge that."
Bieber also shared his thoughts on homosexuality stating that "It's everyone's own decision to do that. It doesn’t affect me and shouldn't affect anyone else." Rolling Stone took note that the young Canadian superstar did not intended to label homosexuality as a lifestyle choice" but pointed out that Bieber has contributed to the "It Gets Better Project," a project started in response to the suicide of Billy Lucas, a teenager who was the target of anti-gay bullying.
Bieber also said in the same interview that he is not interested in obtaining United States citizenship, praising Canada as being "the best country in the world", citing its health care system as an example.
Meanwhile, Justin Bieber is prepping up for his new album titled "Believe." He is currently working with Ke$ha, Taylor Swift, LMFAO, Usher, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, will.i.am, Kanye West, Drake and Timbaland for the said album.

Jericho Rosales has a new teleserye premiering soon on ABS-CBN. The primetime series is titled "Dahil sa Pag-ibig" and his co-stars are Maricar Reyes, Cristine Reyes and Piolo Pascual.Aside from a new show, Jericho Rosales revealed on ABS-CBN's showbiz talk show The Buzz that he has a new girfriend. Her name is Kim Jones and she's a lifestyle show host of cable channel ETC.
In an interview by Toni Gonzaga on The Buzz, Echo shared how he met the 24-year-old British-Spanish-Filipina TV host.
"Nagkakilala kami through… asawa ni Dominic Ochoa. Nag-dinner kami kasama ang mga kapatid ni Dominic at mga kids. Natameme ako, parang hindi ko alam kung ano ang gagawin ko. Nakita ko nga agad na ang ganda ng mata. ’Yung vibe kaagad, ‘yung aura niya," he said.
"She's very open and inilalapit niya 'yung sarili niya sa mga mahal ko. Hindi niya ako nilalayo even doon sa trabaho ko at sa followers ko. Actually magka-tweet sila ng fans ko. They tweet each other. It's a really healthy relationship, hindi ba? We support each other. It's really nice," Jericho added.
Angelicopter Fired from Magic 89.9 Because of Grace Lee?
Angelicopter was fired from Magic 89.9 because of "seniority." This was according to Mo Twister, host of the radio station's "Good Times with Mo", on its February 16 episode.There were reports that Angelika Schmeing-Cruz, otherwise known as "Angelicopter," gets into a fight with her Magic 89.9 colleague Grace Lee, who is now better known as the President's girlfriend. The latter is Mo Twister's previous co-host on his morning radio program alongside Mojo Jojo who is now taking a break.
Mo's new co-host, DJ Suzy, during the said episode of Good Times with Mo asked him the intriguing question: "Grace said if Chopper doesn't get fired she'll never come back?
"Did we ever say that on the show yet or no?" he asked.
Suzy replied, "I don't think so. Well, now you did."
Mo continued, "I think that generally is what happened.
"Okay, so there was a thing where, 'I can't work with her so one of us has to go.' And then collectively, a decision was made to retain Grace because she's seniority and things like that," the New York-based DJ added.
Meanwhile, Magic 89.9 has released a statement refuting reports that their former disc jockey Angelika Schmeing-Cruz a.k.a. Angelicopter, was terminated because of co-dj Grace Lee.
This was clarified by the station on its official Facebook page, reiterating that Angelicopter was not dismissed because of Grace's wishes.
But Angelicopter says otherwise. In her numerous interviews, Cruz claims she was dismissed from her Good Times radio program because Grace doesn't want to work with her anymore because of a "petty misunderstanding."
"May miscommunication kasi nagkasabay kami nag invite ng guests sa show. As you see, hindi nga big deal. Unfortunately she decided that she can no longer work with me on the show," she said.
"Due to seniority I was pulled out of the program. I understand the decision made by management as sad as it is and I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with Mo Twister & Grace Lee," she added.
Magic 89.9 admitted that there was indeed a misunderstanding between the two DJs but reiterated that Angelicopter got the boot because of her performance.
"It is true that there was a misunderstanding between the two ladies. However, it was NOT the reason Mrs. Schmeing-Cruz was terminated," the station said.
Magic 89.9 said Cruz attention has been called several times due to internal issues, which prompted them for her exit.
"It was a matter decided after an ongoing assessment of her overall performance. Magic 89.9 has a culture of giving as many chances as possible provided those concerned show the capacity to improve their craft both off and on air. We're saddened that it had to come to this," the station added.
Grace Lee, on the other hand, pointed out that this incident happened before she met the President in contrast to Angelicopter's claim that she's "power tripping" because of her highly-publicized lovelife.
"Ang pinakaayaw ko sa sinabi niya is that ginawa ko 'yon dahil I feel powerful. This happened even before I met the president. I had not gone out on a single date with him. It has nothing to do with that," Lee said.
Grace Lee expressed her gratitude to Magic 89.9 for setting the record straight.

Azkals Controversy Might Affect their Bid in AFC Challenge Cup
Azkals or the Philippine National Football Team is facing controversy in the midst of their bid to qualify for the for the 2015 AFC Asian Cup.Following the sexual harassment accusations by Cristy Ramos to two members of the Azkals, former First Lady Amelita "Ming" Ramos (Cristy's mom) asked the the team to change their name in order to bring back their dignity as the country's official football team.
Even former President Fidel Ramos aired his support to her daughter and advised the Azkals to learn to respect sports officials and should start winning games.
Azkals' Lexton Moy and Angel Guirado became popular on Tuesday after they were both accused by Cristy Ramos of sexual harassment.
According to the former President's daughter, while she was inspecting their acceditation cards and kits, Lexton Moy stood near her and loudly said "must be a B cup" (referring to the size of her bra) to which the other players laughed loudly. She was the only female in the room.
Furthermore, Angel Guirado went near her purposely just wearing his briefs.
While all this was happening, none of the Philippine team officials present nor the team captain, James Joseph Younghusband (No. 7), made any attempts to discipline the players and tell them to behave properly. In fact, they were also laughing and seemed to be enjoying the revelry at my expense. Philippine team manager Dan Stephen Palami and Philippine head coach Hans Michael Weiss were both not present in the changing room at the time of the team check," she said.
Meanwhile, the Azkals are currently in Kathmandu, Nepal, preparing for their match against North Korea this Friday as part of the 2012 AFC Challenge Cup.
With the controversy back home, the team's spirit is down prompting team captain James Younghusband to air his sentiment on Twitter:
“Preparations for the AFC Challenge Cup are going well. Shame that there are people back home trying to bring football down.”

Grace Ibuna, Aleli Arroyo Snubs Each Other at Iggy Arroyo's Necrological Service
Grace Ibuna, the recent wife of Ignacio "Iggy" Arroyo Jr. reportedly snubbed the latter's previous wife, Aleli Arroyo, and vice versa, during the necrological Service for the late Negros Occidental Representative on Monday morning, March 7.In a report by Philippine Daily Inquirer, Aleli Arroyo sat near the late Congressman's remains with the rest of the Arroyo family including former First Gentleman Jose Miguel Arroyo, Ang Galing party-list Representative Juan Miguel Arroyo, and Camarines Sur Representative Diosdado Arroyo.

Last night, the remains of Iggy were brought to his hometown in Negros Occidental as fulfillment of his wish before he died.
"He is now happy. He's home," Ibuna said upon the arrival of the lawmaker’s body at the Bacolod Silay Airport.
Iggy Arroyo died due to a liver ailment in London last January 26. His interment is set on Friday, March 9, at the family mausoleum in the Manila North Cemetery.
Meanwhile, Pasay City RTC allowed the former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to attend the funeral mass of her brother-in-law this Friday.

Lexton Moy, Ángel Guirado Face Sexual Harrassment Charges by Cristy Ramos
Lexton Moy and Ángel Guirado, two members of the famed Philippine Azkals, are being accused of sexual harrassment by former President Fidel Ramos' daughter, Cristy.
Former Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president and current match commissioner Cristy Ramos formally filed her complaint on Friday, March 2, with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Disciplinary Committee, against Angel Guirado and Lexton Moy who allegedly sexually harassed and disrespected her during the friendly game between the Azkals and the Malayan Tigers last February 29.
According to Cristy, while she was inspecting their acceditation cards and kits, Lexton Moy stood near her and exclaimed "must be a B cup" (referring to the size of her breast) to which the players laughed loudly. She was the only female in the room.
Furthermore, Angel Guirado went near her purposely just wearing his briefs.

Taylor Kitsch Confuses Philippines to Indonesia
Taylor Kitsch, star of Walt Disney's sci-fi movie "John Carter," said on the Late Show with David Letterman that he was harassed at the Philippine International Airport.
The Canadian-born Kitsch alleged that an airport officer threatened to send him back to Japan, his port of origin, because his passport had run out of pages. The officer, allegedly from the Philippine airport, also demanded that he be given an iPhone.
Bureau of Customs commissioner Ruffy Biazon says the Friday Night Lights star might have confused the Philippines to Indonesia.
"I feel confident that Mr. Kitsch was mistaken in saying that his bad experience during his travel was in the Philippines," he said via an interview by ABSCBNNews.com.
Biazon also pointed out that authorities had found no customs or immigration records of Kitsch's visit to the country and that the Philippine government had not given any permits for location shooting for his movie "Savages," in contrast to what he said on the Letterman interview.
The Hollywood movie "Savages," being directed by the award-winning Oliver Stone and also starring John Travolta and Uma Thurman, was actually filmed in Indonesia.
Biazon appeals to Kitsch to retract his statement if he has the chance.
"Unfortunately, the damage was done...In the meantime, Mr Kitsch, perhaps you can help us redeem our lost pride," Biazon said.
The Taylor Kitsch starrer "John Carter" is set to premiere in the US and the Philippines this Friday, March 9. It will have a red carpet premiere at the IMAX Theater of the SM Mall of Asia this Wednesday night, March 7.

Miriam Defensor Santiago Tells Fr. Arevalo that 'Hell' is Just a Metaphor
Miriam Defensor Santiago responded to Fr. Catalino Arevalo's statement that she is "worthy of the fires of hell" for berating the House prosecutors during the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.
In a statement, Santiago is challenging the priest for a debate saying that under a resolution by the Second Vatican Council, "there is no hell; but even if there is, there is nobody there.”
Santiago added that hell is not a geographical place but just a "metaphor" used by the Scriptures to imply the condition of a man's distance from God.
“Under Vatican 2, the story of Genesis is no longer a historical fact but a myth. The Bible should not be read literally, but should be read in its Aramaic context. Unfortunately, some of the religious refuse to accept the changes started by Vatican 2,” she said.
Fr. Catalino Arevalo, over the weekend, said Senator Santiago should issue a public apology for her inappropriate tirades against the House prosecutors during the impeachment trial of Chief Justice Renato Corona.
“If you call anybody ‘you fool,’ you are worthy of the fires of hell. And she called them gago, which is Filipino for fool, before millions of people,” Fr. Arevalo said.
With regards to the “hell” comment, the priest at the historic Our Lady of Edsa Shrine said it was Jesus who said that and not him.
Although the priest did not mention the name of the feisty Senator, Fr. Arevalo’s clue gave it instantly.
“Well, that was before millions of people. So she is, in conscience, bound to make a formal apology before millions of people if God will forgive her. That’s the teaching of Jesus. You don’t do that, and if you do that, you have to retract it by making a formal apology before millions of people, otherwise you remain worthy of the fires of hell,” he told the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
In a recent radio interview, Santiago also mentioned that she doesn’t need to apologize to anybody.
“They want me to change my personality. Hindi na possible ‘yan because I was born this way eh,” the feisty Senator said.

Jose Manalo Left His Family for a Young Dancer?
Jose Manalo is facing controversy 2 days after his highly successful concert at the Smart-Araneta with pal Wally Bayola.Yesterday, March 4, the wife of Jose Manalo appeared on ABS-CBN's showbiz talk show "The Buzz" and revealed that her husband left her and the kids on early January for the "other woman."
Annalyn Manalo said she's aware of her husband's affair with the dancer since last year but she kept mum about it so as not to affect their kids.
"Sa pagkakaalam ko, at alam na alam na naming lahat, mayroon at marami na rin akong pruweba na totoo nga ito, totoo ngang may babae siya. Umalis siya January 6 this year, pero yung mga bagay na ito, alam ko na last year pa," she said.
She recalled that Jose is no longer sending text messages to her and that he even changed his number.
The troubled wife also added that she was able to talk with the "other woman."
"Dalawang beses ko siyang kinausap na parang awa na niya, layuan na niya ang asawa ko dahil may mga anak ito, lalong lalo na may maliit kaming anak. Sana makonsensiya siya," she said.
Despite of what happened, Annalyn said she and the kids are willing to forgive Jose if ever the comedian decides to return to their home.
"Gusto ko sabihin sa 'yo na mahal na mahal kita. Ginawa ko to dahil sobrang sakit na ng nararamdaman ko para sa mga anak ko," was her last statement.

Sandara Park starred in a web drama titled "Kiss Note" where she was kissed by the three members of the K-Pop boyband SHINee.
"Kiss Note" is actually part of Etude’s “Dear My Lips-Talk” campaign, a promotional video for the Korean lipstick brand.
During the press conference held at the Garden Place in Gwanghamun, Korea, SHINee members, Key, Taemin, and Jonghyun reveal their kissing scenes with 2NE1?s Sandara Park.
“Where did you kiss Sandara Park?” the press asked Key and Taemin.
Both Taemin and Key answered, “On the cheek,” but Jonghyun added, “Only member, Minho, kissed her on the lips.”
“Kiss Note,” starring Sandara Park, and SHINee’s Minho, Jonghyun, Taemin, and Key, is a web drama, which according to Etude House, would be showing four different kinds of love feelings and would also show different kisses. Jessica Sanchez is 'the One to Beat' on Idol Says Jimmy Iovine
Jessica Sanchez received the highest praise from American Idol mentor and Interscope chairman Jimmy Iovine whom some people perceived as the new Simon Cowell.
During the Top 13 reveal of American Idol last Friday, Iovine shared his thoughts and assessed each of the Top 24, as they learned their fate.
He was mean to most of them except for the 16-year-old Fil-Am contestant Jessica Sanchez.
After the video review of Jessica's performance of Jennifer Hudson's "I Do," Jimmy Iovine said:
“Now she has talent from A to Z. I’d sign her on the spot tonight. If anyone has the pole position in this race, it’s Jessica. She’s the one to beat.”
People may dislike Iovine for his Cowell-ish comments but avid followers of the show believes American Idol needs a "truth-teller" because the three judges--Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler--are all afraid to offend.
Who knows maybe the producers of the show may add Iovine as the fourth member of the judging panel in the coming episodes?

Shaina Magdayao Reunites with Jake Cuenca in Upcoming Teleserye
Shaina Magdayao will be paired once again with Jake Cuenca in the upcoming afternoon teleserye with the working title "Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo."
Shaina Magdayao and Jake Cuenca have worked together in the past, the first was in "Your Song: A Million Miles Away," the fantaserye "Dragonna" and then the primetime teleserye "Rubi." So "Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo" (formerly "Doha") will serve as their reunion project.
The story of the teleserye revolves around the lives of Overseas Contract Workers (OCW) working in Doha, Qatar.
"Honored ako na ako ’yung napili na gumanap nga bilang isang OFW kasi ako mismo meron tayong mga relatives na nagtatrabaho sa ibang bansa." Shaina said.
"Aside from ’yung love story namin, doon din talaga umiikot ’yung story kasi pamilya namin, galing kami sa pamilya ng OFWs. Kami rin magkakaroon ng opportunity na makapunta sa ibang bansa at magtrabaho doon. ’Yung flashback magsu-shoot sa Abu Dhabi and sa Dubai, ’tapos sa Doha." she added.
Marvin Reglos, Hazing Victim Laid to Rest
Marvin Reglos, the 25-year-old San Beda law student who died because of multiple injuries allegedly caused by hazing has been laid to rest in a public cemetery in Isabela on Saturday, March 3, 2012.Reglos was identified on February 21, by his relatives. He was brought by two men on board a red Hondy City with plate number WMF 174 last February 19, Sunday night, at the Unciano Medical Center. He was declared dead on arrival.
Reglos sustained severe bruises on several parts of his body as a result of his initiation rites in Lambda Rho Beta fraternity.
Two suspects, alleged fraternity members Erick Edrosolano Castillo, 28; and Bodjie Amorin Yap, 24, were arrested on the same night Reglos was rushed to the hospital after they went back to the hospital, supposedly to check on the victim’s condition.
Police said the case is strong against the suspects after they found from their cellphones several text messages, supposedly from other fraternity members, warning not to speak out on the matter or reveal the identities of those behind the alleged hazing.
The San Beda College of Law, meanwhile, condemned the violent killing of Reglos saying it was an “unlawful and dreadful act of violence.”
Here is a short statement released by the school following the death of Reglos:
“The San Beda College of law condemns the system of brotherhood that employs violence, intimidation, intentional force, or reckless imprudence as part of any of its ceremonies or practices. Consequently, the school does not recognize their existence.”

Anne Hathaway Cast as Selina Kyle in 'The Dark Knight Rises'
Anne Hathaway has been cast as Selina Kyle in Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises.” She will be starring alongside Christian Bale, who returns in the title role of Bruce Wayne/Batman.Christopher Nolan stated, “I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story.”
In addition, Tom Hardy has been set to play Bane. Nolan said, “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”
Nolan will direct the film from a screenplay he wrote with Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer. Nolan will also produce the film with his longtime producing partner, Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven.

Isagani Yambot of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, Dead at 77
Isagani Yambot, publisher of the Philippine Daily Inquirer, died on Friday. He was 77.
Yambot died of a heart attack Friday, March 2 following a bypass surgery last week.

Shaina Magdayao is Still Unable to Walk Following the 'ASAP' Injury
Shaina Magdayao might not be able to appear on ASAP 2012 tomorrow, March 4, because she is still recovering from an ankle injury she sustained from an accident during her production number on the musical variety show last Sunday.According to John Lloyd Cruz, Magdayao's boyfriend, the young actress is still unable to walk.
"'Yung ankle niya namaga, hanggang ngayon maga siya. Hindi naman siya na-confine sa hospital. Naka-bandage lang at pinapahinga lang niya. Actually, hindi pa siya makalakad," Cruz told Push.ph.
Magdayao has no current projects with ABS-CBN for the mean time except for ASAP 2012. The young actress, however, is slated to star in an upcoming teleserye with the working title "Doha: Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo" opposite Jake Cuenca.

Being raised by a fashion model and a San Vicente local resident, Pie grew up witnessing the beauty of Palawan. As she continues her studies, Pie left the Philippines with her family and went to Boston to study college where she had the opportunity to live her dream inspired by her mother and work as an intern in the House of Chanel. However, Pie’s dream career shifted as her dad influenced her to enter the world of politics and run as Mayor in their hometown, San Vicente.
