A best actress trophy is Angel Locsin's latest "TODA MAX" achievement
Angel Locsin has once again proven that besides comedy, she is still the drama princess as she was hailed as the Movie Actress of the Year for her Star Cinema movie “In the Name of Love” in the recently held 28th Star Awards of the Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC).
Angel can’t hide her happiness for her first major acting award. She said that she’s more inspired now to give her best in all her projects. Also celebrating for her victory are Angel’s family, friends and other people that keeps the actress going.
“TODA Max” cast members Robin Padilla, Vhong Navarro and Pokwang are also happy for their co-star’s triumph. They said that Angel deserves the award because she really has worked hard for the movie.
Meanwhile, this Saturday on “TODA Max,” Isabel (Angel) will have a mama’s boy suitor named Mat (Matteo Guidicelli), but she doesn’t like him. So, Isabel will seek Justin’s (Vhong) help and ask him if they can play lovers.
A teenage boy named Carding (Neil Coleta) will push himself to be a barker in the TODA, but he will end up fighting with the tricycle drivers. Tol (Robin) will help manage the situation. Carding will then meet Tol’s daughter Sandy (Aaliyah), whom she’ll have an interest in. Carding will try to convince Tol if he can court Sandy thus competing with other suitor Jonas (Paul Salas).
