Dolphy Needs Our Prayers
Dolphy, the country's Comedy King, is "not in the pink of health" - this is according to his long-time partner Zsa Zsa Padilla during the thanksgiving press con for ABS-CBN's primetime series "Budoy" Tuesday afternoon.
“Siguro kahit paano you'd been hearing rumors, the past years have been very difficult with my family. Alam naman nila na si Dolphy, aside from being 83-years-old, he's not in the pink of health," the Divine Diva said.
"And a lot of times ay naging very considerate ‘di lang ang mga co-stars ko kung hindi pati ang mga director at staff namin. Manggagaling ako sa ospital diretso ako sa set ganoon ang buhay ko. So, naramdaman ko ang alaga at pag-aalaga,” she added.
Padilla said Dolphy is hanging in there and that the showbiz icon is in good spirit after he came out from the hospital.
Despite her admission that her partner has been in and out of the hospital lately, Padilla did not reveal what Dolphy's illness is.
“I don’t think I’m in the position to discuss that right now... maybe in another time if the whole family is ready. Kasi I don’t want to be the only one to be saying things regarding his health,” she said.
Padilla would also like to ask Dolphy's fans to pray that God will give him physical strength so he can continue to entertain a lot of people.
