Bourne Legacy - Universal has Released the Official Movie Poster and First Trailer!
Bourne Legacy - the term has become a household name in the country because it's the title of the upcoming Hollywood action movie that was shot partly in the Philippines.
Bourne Legacy is the first major Hollywood production to be shot in the Philippines for quite a while that's why it created such buzz. Previous Hollywood films shot in the country include Chuck Norris' "Missing in Action" and Oliver Stone's "Platoon" in the 80s. A couple of other movies shot in the country like "Brokedown Palace" and "Apocalypse Now" were also talk of the town back then.
"The Bourne Legacy" is actually the fourth installment to the "Bourne" movie franchise based on the series of novels by Robert Ludlum and Eric Van Lustbader. Tony Gilroy, the screenwriter of the first three films starring Matt Damon, is the director of the fourth installment.
Taking the role of Matt Damon for the fourth film is Jeremy Renner (Marvel's The Avengers, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol).
Also starring in the movie are Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Joan Allen, Albert Finney, Scott Glenn, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac.
Released by Universal Pictures, "The Bourne Legacy" is set to open in theaters on August 3, 2012.
