Ramona Bautista Retracts, then Flies to Hong Kong
Ramona Bautista, younger sister and one of the primary suspects in the murder of young actor Ramgen "Ram" Bautista, left for Hong Kong at 7:55 p.m. last night (Friday), November 4, via Cathay Pacific economy class.
Before leaving, Ramona recanted her earlier statement, said she was not abducted by her brother's killers, and claimed she had nothing to do with the death of his brother Ramgen.
Ramgen’s girlfriend, who survived gun shots and stab wound, testified on Thursday that Ramona was at the crime scene and fled without calling for help.
Ramona's sudden departure and her newest version of what happened during that night of the incident shocked the Revilla clan particularly his half-brother Senator Bong Revilla Jr. who expressed his dismay on his sister's decision to flee out of the county.
The senator said, in an interview on GMA News' Saksi and ABS-CBN's Bandila, Ramona's flight is "a sign of guilt."
"Kung sino ang may sala dapat makulong," the Senator added.
Ramona's brother, Ramon "RJ" Joseph Bautista, who is one of the primary suspects was arrested earlier this week and detained by the Parañaque City police.
