Manny Pacquiao Beats Juan Manuel Marquez via Majority Decision, Secures WBO Welterweight Title
Manny Pacquiao has secured his WBO welterweight title by winning his third bout against Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez via unanimous decision.
Manny Pacquiao shattered all doubts and proved that he is the stronger fighter by defeating Juan Manuel Marquez for the second time.
Although Pacquiao has been on the receiving end of many combinations and punches from Marquez during the middle rounds, our Pambansang Kamao was still able to showcase his signature speed and landing a variety of counter-punches to the Mexican boxing champion.
Both fighters bloodied and had cuts above right eyebrow.
Marquez was able to control some rounds making Pacquaio vunerable in round 9 to 11 but the Filipino Boxing Hero was able to rally during the last round.
Manny Pacquiao won by majority decision, beating Juan Manuel Marquez for 2nd time. He successfully defended his World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight crown.
