Kapuso stars Michael V. and Dingdong Dantes are nominated in the performance category of the 2010 Asian Television Awards.
Ace comedian Michael V. is among the finalists in the Best Comedy Performance by an Actor/Actress category of the 2010 Asian Television Awards. Michael got the nod via his performance on GMA's realiserye "Pepito Manaloto."
The Filipino comedian is up against Alaric Tay (The Noose 3) of Singapore, Michelle Chong (Black Rose) of Singapore, Chua En Lai (The Noose 3) of Singapore, Sudarat Bootprom (Vongkumlao the Series) of Thailand and Michelle Chong (The Noose 3) of Singapore.
Kapuso top leading man Dingdong Dantes, on the other hand, is among the finalists in the Best Drama Performance by an Actor category of the 2010 Asian Television Awards. Dingdong is nominated for his stellar performance in the Philippine adaptation of the koreanovela "Stairway to Heaven."
Dingdong is up against Chang Shan-Wei (The Pioneers) of Taiwan, Lee Cheng Yun (The Adjusters) of Malaysia, Bowie Lam (Sister of Pearl) of Hong Kong, Frederick Lee (Glowing Embers) of Malaysia and Chen Sicheng (Pretty Maid) of China.
In the Programming category, the GMA documentary "Planet Philippines" as hosted by Richard Gutierrez is nominated for Best Natural History of Wildlife Programme or Docu Drama; GMA's flagship news program 24 Oras (Maguindanao Massacre) is nominated in the Best News Program category; The GMA gag show Bubble Gang is nominated in the Best Comedy Program category; and GMA's docu program Reporter’s Notebook: Ondoy’s Wrath is nominated in the Best Public Affairs Program category.
ABS-CBN's International Emmys-nominated teleserye "Dahil May Isang Ikaw", on the other hand, is nominated in the Best Drama Series category.
