Manny Pacquiao to Shoot a Nike Commercial with Kobe Bryant and Tiger Woods
The Pambansang Kamao Manny ‘Pacman” Pacquiao will join NBA superstar Kobe Bryant and Golf Legend Tiger Woods in one hot commercial for Nike.
According to Asia Golf, the television advertisement of Nike gathers together the three popular international sports figures.
Pacquiao earlier shot a commercial for Nike with the Lupang Hinirang playing as the background music.
The Asia Golf report added that Manny was earlier criticized for allegedly snubbing a shoot with Bryat and the other sports superstars while he was preparing for his fight with Juan Manuel Marquez.
Pacquiao has legitimized his status as one of the top two pound for pound fighters in the world today by beating Marquez to claim his third wolrd title last March 16 in Las Vegas.
Cable Television Home Box Office Vice-president Mark Taffet confirmed that the fight between Pacquiao and Marquez was a big hit in the ring and at home. According to Taffet, the fight generated $20.2 million in pay per view revenue. It also set a record in ticket sales when the Mandalay Bay Events Center eared $3.3 million from paying public.
