Jamie Herrell Wins Miss Earth 2014
After Cebuana Karla Henry won the Miss Earth crown in 2008, another Cebuana captured the title this year and she's none other than Jamie Herrell.
Herrell bested 84 other candidates this year including heavy favorites Miss USA Andrea Neu who placed 2nd (Miss Earth-Air), Miss Venezuela Maria Alexandra Rodriguez who placed 3rd (Miss Earth-Water) and Miss Russia Anastasia Trusova who placed 4th (Miss Earth-Fire).
This year's semi-finalists (Top 16) include Colombia, Egypt, Korea, Mexico, Scotland, Tahiti, Thailand and Zambia.
