MJ Lastimosa Named Sexiest Vegetarian in the Philippines for 2014
Binibining Pilipinas Universe MJ Lastimosa has been crowned the Philippines' 2014 Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity after a fierce, month-long battle that recently ended at PETAAsiaPacific.com.
Lastimosa narrowly beat out musician Geneva Cruz and models Sandra Seifert and Amanda Griffin Jacob for the title. Other popular contenders included actors Chin Chin Gutierrez and Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan and Delara leader singer Lougee Basabas as well as international stars such as former U.S. President Bill Clinton, musicians Jason Mraz and Paul McCartney, talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres, and actors Natalie Portman,Tobey Maguire, and Jared Leto.
"There's no easier way to put passion in your life than by putting compassion in your diet," says PETA Asia Vice President Jason Baker. "MJ knows that going vegetarian is the best thing that you can do for animals, the Earth, and your health. Plus, she's living proof that being vegetarian helps keep you slim and sexy."
