'Dyesebel,' to Make Splash on Primetime on 1st Quarter of 2014
ABS-CBN unleashed the teaser for the TV adaptation of Mars Ravelo's graphic novel "Dyesebel."
It can be remembered that the last time that "Dyesebel" made a splash on Philippine television was in 2008 on GMA Network. The beloved mermaid was portrayed by Marian Rivera and it aired for 25 episodes.
The Kapuso fantaserye also aired in Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and Vietnam where the Kapuso Primetime Queen is considered a superstar.
But the rights for all Mars Ravelo's creations was recently acquired by ABS-CBN and hitting the small screen in the first quarter of 2014 is "Dyesebel." But who will portray the role of the most popular mermaid in Philippine literature?
