The weekly gossip magazine "Closer" published a series of topless photos of Kate in September last year while the celebrity is having a vacation at a private resort in Southern France with her husband Prince William. The Buckingham palace called the controversial photos "grotesque" breach of the royal couple's privacy.
Ernesto Mauro, the CEO of "Closer" magazine and the unnamed paparazzi who took the photos from a distance were put under investigation while "Closer" was prohibited to publish any further until the case is resolved.
