'Jeepney TV' Debuts on October 22

Travel back to your favorite Kapamilya programs by taking a ride on Jeepney TV, the newest cable channel of ABS-CBN that will offer well-loved and timeless shows and movies that highlight the best of Pinoy TV.

Jeepney TV's primetime programming brings back television's top-rating comedies via its "Tawa Way Zone". Comedy King Dolphy's long-running series "Home Along da Riles" will charm today's audiences anew as it airs daily on weekdays at 7:00 PM. This will be followed at 8:00 PM by back-to-back episodes of "Bida si Mister, Bida si Misis" with Maricel Soriano and Cesar Montano on Mondays and "Whattamen" with Rico Yan, Marvin Agustin and Dominic Ochoa on Tuesdays.

Aga Muhlach's adventures and misadventures as a young veterinarian in “Oki Doki Doc” air on Wednesdays, while "Pwedeng-Pwede" with Robin Padilla and Redford White bring on the laughs on Thursdays and the irreverent bunch of "Goin' Bananas" rule on Fridays. The award-winning political satire "Abangan Ang Susunod Na Kabanata" makes its comeback on Saturdays at 7:00 PM.

Apart from these comedy classics, Jeepney TV offers unforgettable teleseryes on weeknights such as "It Might Be You", which propelled the John Lloyd Cruz-Bea Alonzo team-up and “Pangako Sa ’Yo” starring Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa, the immortal hit that has been syndicated in many other countries and will soon have a Cambodian adaptation by 2013.

Jeepney TV has commissioned none other than Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano, to do a new version of his '80's hit “Eto Na Naman” , which will serve as the channel's theme. As the song goes, "Nawawala... bumabalik, Eto na naman!", other beloved ABS-CBN shows such as "Ang TV", "Game KNB?", "Ryan Ryan Musikahan" and "Gimik" will keep TV's beautiful memories alive.

Jeepney TV airs 24 hours a day via SkyCable Channel 69 beginning October 22. For programming schedules and updates, like their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/JeepneyTV
