Bagyong Juaning - PAGASA Update (July 26, 2011)
Tropical Storm "JUANING" continues to move West Northwest and posing a real threat to Quezon-Aurora Area.
It was last spotted at 90 kms North Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes at 5 a.m. and now has maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph.
Classes in more areas in Southern Luzon were suspended on Tuesday due to heavy rain and strong winds brought by tropical storm "Juaning."
Earlier, the DepEd suspended classes in some areas in Southern Luzon, including Lipa City in Batangas and San Pablo City in Laguna.
Signal No. 2 have been issued to Catanduanes, Albay, and Camarines Provinces (Sur and Norte).
Signal No. 1 have been issued to Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Abra, Apayao, Kalinga, Cagayan, Isabela, Ifugao, Mt. Province, La Union, Pangasinan, Benguet, Nueva Vizcaya, Nueva Ecija, Quirino, Aurora, Quezon including Polillo Island and Sorsogon.
