Nonito Donaire Climbs to No. 3 of World's Best Pound for Pound Boxers List
Nonito Donaire climbs to no. 3 of The Ring Magazine's Pound for Pound list after his victory against Mexican Montiel last Sunday.
Last Sunday, February 19, Nonito Donaire knocked out Fernando Montiel in the second round to take the World Boxing Council (WBC) and World Boxing Organization (WBO) Bantamweight World Titles.
With the victory, Donaire became the second Filipino and third Asian to become a three-division world champion, a fighter who won world titles in three different weight divisions.
It also pushed Donaire 5 notches up to no. 3 of The Ring Magazine's Top 10 Pound for Pound Boxers in the World which is currently ruled by our Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao.
