Charice's 'Pyramid' is No. 4 in Yahoo's Most Irresistible Lyrics

Pyramid, the international debut single of our very own Charice, makes it to no. 4 of "Yahoo's 2010 Year in Review: Most Irresistible Lyrics" list.

According to the article's author Kimberly Chun, Charice takes her homegrown yet polished breed of gospel-tinged pop-R&B out to play, gaining mainstream radio airplay and a big hand from Oprah Winfrey, who dubbed her the "most talented girl in the world."

And as for her song "Pyramid", Chun said it don't venture further than assurances that 'We took it from the bottom up / And even in a desert storm / Sturdy as a rock we hold / Wishing every moment froze.' Such potentially forbidding metaphors are dispelled by the 18-year-old's feisty, soul-stirring performance -- and a charisma, on full display in the song's video, that sweeps away doubts.

Justin Bieber topped the list with his hit single "Baby." Half-Pinoy Bruno Mars is at no. 5 with his song "Just the Way You Are."

Charice is set to perform for Hershey Jingle Ball's Tour on December 9 together with Jessie McCartney. According to reports, the Pinay singing sensation is also recording with RnB producer Sean Garrett, one of the most highly regarded record producers in the business. Garrett worked on McCartney’s upcoming album “Have It All”, which will be released on December 28.
