DOT Launches 'Postcards From Paradise' Twitter Campaign
It’s been almost 50 years since the Beatles visited the Philippines. And according to the Department of Tourism, it’s about time that we invite one of them back.
The iconic band’s guitarist–Ringo Starr–tweeted recently: “Let’s send each other postcards from Paradise.”
Getting inspiration from the said tweet, DOT is encouraging us to show Ringo and the world that the Philippines really is a paradise by sharing beautiful photos of the country on Twitter.
Since we are the social media capital of the world, we can unite to catch the world’s attention and encourage them to visit our country.
Hopefully, we can also encourage Ringo Starr to come back one of these days.
