Pinay Blogger Wins 'The Bachelor'
Pinay Catherine Ligaya Mejia Giudici bested 25 other female aspirants to win "The Bachelor" season 17.
The top-rating reality dating show on ABC has drawn nearly 10 million viewers on its final episode featuring Catherine Ligaya, a 26-year-old graphic designer and blogger from Seattle, accepting the engagement proposal of The Bachelor’s Sean Lowe.
“I miss you every time we have to say goodbye. I don’t want to say goodbye anymore,” said Lowe during his proposal to Giudici, which was filmed in Thailand.
Guidici is the daughter of Cynthia Mejia-Giudici, a trustee for the Filipino-American National Historical Society in Seattle.
Her father is of Scottish and Swiss-Italian descent.
