Thia Megia Makes It to American Idol Season 10 Top 13
Only one of the two Filipino-Americans on American Idol Top 24 made it to the Top 13.
15-year-old Thia Megia is one of the Top 10 vote-getters on American Idol's semi-finals as revealed in the show's Top 24 results night.
Thia performed yesterday on American Idol Top 12 girls performance night when her rendition of "Out Here On My Own" received rave reviews from the three judges: Steven Tyler, Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson.
On the other hand, another Fil-Am Clint Jun Gamboa, was among the 11 who was cut earlier today (Thursday night in the US). Although his performance of "Superstition" 2 days ago during the Top 12 Guys performance night was among the best, he was not able to get enough votes to get through to the next round.
Only the Top 10 vote-getters advance for next week's show PLUS 3 wildcard performers chosen by the judges.
