Huawei Watch Now in PH
This dilemma also applies with gadgets. You want a smartwatch which packs a punch when it comes to functionality but you can only wear it while jogging or working. You wouldn't wear it in events that require elegance because it looks sporty and nerdy. As a matter of fact, you can't match it with a suit or evening dress because most smartwatches are made of plastic materials.

Filipino girl group 4th Power (a.k.a. ‘Gollayan Sisters’ in PH), impressed the judges yet again with their version of “Titanium” by Sia during the “The X Factor UK” 2015 Bootcamp.
Based from the judges’ conversation, 4th Power is doing very very good in the competition. Rita Ora believes they are the best compared to everything they’ve seen so far. Simon Cowell was even heard saying “I would love to work with them.”
In the back stage interview, 4th Power said: “We don’t want this to let go, It’s like a dream come true. We don’t want to waste this big opportunity in our life.”
The group advanced to the Six-Chair challenge round. And according to rumors, they’ve made it to the Top 24. It’s not surprising, though, because they are currently receiving a lot of attention from the media and bloggers and their videos on the official “X Factor UK” YouTube channel are the most-watched among any other contestants this year. Their audition video alone where they sang “Bang Bang” by Jessie J, Ariana Grande, and Nicki Minaj garnered a whopping 15,104,532 million views as of this posting.

Myx TV's 3 New Original Series on YouTube are Winning Over Viewers and Critics
Just a week ago, Myx TV launched the following shows:
“The Alternative” is a do-it-yourself series hosted by Tara Shah (pictured) featuring natural, holistic and Eastern medicine remedies for everyday health concerns.
Buddha Smash” focuses on a Buddha character who obliterates everything in his path with his bare hands in a 2D fighting game format.
“Snaxxx” is a culinary commentary show where adult entertainers including Sheila Marie (@sheilamariexxx) and Jaylene Rio (@JayleneRio1) give their unbiased opinions on delicacies from all over the world.
Most recently, major mainstream publications online and on print like Fast Company, New Media Rockstars, StreamDaily, TubeFilter, Broadcasting Cable, Cynopsis Digital and Asian American Journal have given precious space to feature the three shows.
Dan Solomon of Fast Company wrote:
If you’re really into porn, you’ve probably seen your favorite stars do, er, all sorts of things on camera.... And now, it includes "eat candy.".... Specifically, that list might include "eating foreign versions of American candy snacks," as brought to you by Asian-American cable network Myx TV’s YouTube channel.
The web series, "Snaxxx" (get it?) features porn stars walking us through the process of unwrapping, say, a white chocolate Japanese KitKat. The video is technically safe-for-work, and does get into some details about the differences between the KitKat you know from your supermarket shelves and the ones that Sheila Marie enjoys on camera (orange flavor, smaller, less crunchy). (NOTE: This first episode as of this writing already has over 11,500 views).
We’d still recommend not listening in your office with the volume up, as the noises a woman like Sheila Marie makes when masticating a candy treat and removing the excess chocolate from her fingers is not dissimilar to the noises she might make when performing in the videos for which she is more famous (especially when they crank up the smooth jazz soundtrack.)
If you’ve ever been curious about what international candy snacks taste like, though, and only trust the information you receive from adult entertainers, "Snaxxx" is the program for you.

“Myx TV is committed to entertaining millennials in fun, enjoyable and interesting ways, which is apparent with these original YouTube series and the network’s renewed focus on its digital presence,” said Miguel Santos, General Manager. “These efforts make us more accessible and entertaining to a broader audience.” See, there you go! Filipino Fighters Triumph in 'Pinoy Pride 32: Duel in Dubai 2'
“Prince” Albert Pagara remains undefeated after successfully knocking out Mexican opponent Jesus “Chito” Rios in the main event of the “Pinoy Pride 32: Duel in Dubai 2” last Friday, August 7, now making his total 24 wins and 17 knockouts
Pagara’s older brother, Jason “El Niño” Pagara (36-2, 22 KOs) with fellow Filipino fighters Jimrex “Executioner” Jaca (40-8-4), and Dubai-based Filipino boxer Larry Abarra (4-2-1) also defeated their foes in the undercard matches.
A roaring Filipino crowd cheered on the aggressive ‘hunter’ that is Pagara as he defeated his Mexican opponent, thereby retaining his IBF Intercontinental Jr. Featherweight title. The confident fighter instantly impressed with a right straight left cross combo that immediately plummeted Rios (31-8-1). Veteran refereeBruce McTavish continued the fight after a wobbly Rios stood up and beat the count. Pagara instantaneously saw the opening and threw a salvo of punches which made Rios hold on to the ropes of the ring. McTavish then put a stop to the match, setting Pagara’s victory over Rios. Pagara’s lethal punches left Rios lying at the canvas with the medical team attending to him, putting him on oxygen.
An overjoyed Pagara told ABS-CBN that he is exultant with the way he fought the Mexican fighter and said that no matter who he fights, regardless of time and location, he will fight to the end. “Wala naman akong kaba kahit saan ako lumaban na bansa, basta nasa ibabaw ako ng ring, boxing talaga ang hanap ko (I don’t feel any pressure. No matter where the fight brings me for as long as I am inside the ring. I just want to fight my best,” said a confident Pagara.
In the undercard matches, Albert’s elder brother, Jason won after a bloody match with Mexican opponentRamiro “Xixime” Alcaraz (15-5-1) via unanimous decision.
During the first round, both fighters were put to a test after a clash of heads caused a cut on the left eyebrow of Pagara. In the eighth round, a brutal head-butt by Alcaraz caused another cut on Pagara and was then checked by the medical team. The attending physician then decided that Pagara was unfit to continue the ten-round match forcing the results to be decided on scorecards. In the end, the judges assessed in favor of Pagara with the scores 77-73, 76-74, and 78-72.
Jaca, on the other hand, also won via unanimous decision (UD) over Mexican rival Pablo Lugo Montiel (21-6). Jaca had a hard time defeating Montiel especially during the fourth round where Jaca was knocked down. During the last two rounds, Jaca was able to recover and regain control of the fight, throwing multiple combinations at Montiel. Jaca won the undercard match with the judges all in favor of him, 78-74, 78-74, and 77-74.
Dubai-based Filipino fighter, Abarra, meantime, surprised the Filipino crowd in Dubai after fearlessly knocking out Indonesian fighter Tony Arema (3-7-1) in the first round of their match.
Following the sensational first round knockout of Albert and the UD victory of Jason, the Pagara brothers, together with the undefeated Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo (10-0, with 8 KOs) have clinched another international fight in ALA’s first foray in American soil, “Pinoy Pride 33,” at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.
“Pinoy Pride 32: Duel in Dubai 2” was brought to the Middle East by The Filipino Channel (TFC), ABS-CBN Sports + Action, and ALA Promotions International.

Filipino Fighters Set to Showcase Boxing Greatness in 'Duel in Dubai 2'
Filipino fighters are all set to create boxing history once again as multi-faceted Pagara brothers, “Prince” Albert and Jason “El Niño” Pagara headline The Filipino Channel (TFC), ABS-CBN Sports + Action, and ALA promotions’ much-awaited and fiery match “Pinoy Pride 32: Duel in Dubai 2” in Dubai on August 7, Friday at the Dubai World Trade Center.
The Pagara brothers, who are both first timers in the international boxing ring, will square off with Mexican fighters Jesus “Chito” Rios and Ramiro “Xixime” Alcaraz armed with their Pinoy pride and in full fighting form.
The 21year-old Albert will face the 31 year-old Rios in the main event to defend his IBF Intercontinental Jr. Featherweight title. An orthodox fighter known for his aggressive loud punches, the undefeated Pagara who has a record of 23 wins, 16 of which he triumphed via knockouts (23-0, 16 KOs), is coming from a solid victory over Mexico’s Rodolfo Hernandez in March 2015 who plummeted in the opening round. Hernandez was made to retire in the fourth round when he complained of an injury and was unable to continue. Meantime, Rios who has a record of 31 wins, seven losses, and one draw (31-7-1, 25 KOs), is a ‘beast’ himself in the ring. He is coming off a first round technical knockout (TKO) over fellow Mexican Aram Valle last May in Mexico.
The older Pagara, Jason, meanwhile has a record of 35 wins and two losses (35-2, 22 KOs) and will scuffle against another rocky Mexican, Alcaraz, who has a record of 15 wins, four losses, and one draw (15-4-1, 9 KOs). The 23 year-old Pagara, who is known for his sweet yet powerful punches, is coming off a second round TKO against Mexican boxer, Cesar Chavez in February. The slugger Alcaraz, meanwhile, scored a TKO in his most recent fight last December against Jonas Olivas during the seventh round.
Also entering the squared arena in Dubai are Dumaguete City-born (Negros Oriental, Philippines) boxer Jimrex “Executioner” Jaca (39-8-4, 22 KOs) and
Dubai-based Filipino boxer Larry Abarra (3-2-1, 2 KOs) who will battle it out in the undercard matches against Mexico’s Pablo Lugo Montiel (21-5, 17 KOs) and Indonesia’s Tony Arema (3-6-1), respectively.
The Pagara brothers shared their exhilaration of being given the opportunity by ALA to show their ‘galing’ or greatness in boxing in a foreign country where a massive number of Filipinos will support them all the way. “I would like to thank our kababayans this early. You can expect my full fighting form or my 100% in this fight,” said the eldest Pagara.
Albert, meantime, mentioned in an exclusive interview with TFC that he is confident and more than ready to face his opponent on Friday. “I did my homework and studied my opponent. I am ready to show our fellow Filipinos the greatness and feistiness of the Filipino boxer in the Dubai ring.”
ALA promotions president and CEO Michael Aldeguer said that they brought another series of “Pinoy Pride” in the entertainment mecca of Middle East, Dubai, mainly because of the overwhelming support they have received during the first leg of the series outside the Philippines. “We truly appreciate the support we have been receiving from our dear overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), not just in the Middle East but around the world, who have close ties in the sport of boxing. Our vision to bring the sport of boxing closer to ourkababayans was definitely achieved during the first ‘Duel in Dubai’ and we are hoping for a greater response this year-round,” said Aldeguer.
He also added that aside from Dubai, ALA will continue to showcase the talents of Filipino greatness in boxing as their number of international matches start to grow.
Show your Pinoy pride and support the greatness of Filipino boxers in the much-awaited “Pinoy Pride 32: Duel in Dubai 2” this Friday, August 7, at the Dubai World Trade Center. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and show starts at 7p.m. Boxing fans worldwide can also catch the historical match via TFC Pay-Per-View (PPV) at 7 p.m, Dubai time. Tickets will be available at the venue on the day of the fight or visit www.tickets.virginmegastore.me. You can also visit www.facebook.com/TFCMiddleEast for more updates.

PH to Send Participants to World Cosplay Summit for the First Time
The Philippines has been an observer nation for the World Cosplay Summit for years before being granted a spot for the 2015 edition. Hero TV’s efforts for cosplayers, and the cosplayers themselves as well, did not go unnoticed by WCS’ organizers and have fully welcomed the country to the fold.
In the presscon, Hero TV channel head Jojo Estacio said she believes that the girls have a very good chance in the competition that is set to take place this weekend. “If everything goes to plan, with whatever they prepared, their choreographed skits, we really have a good chance. We didn’t just join for the sake of joining, of course we want to win.”
For their part, SJ and Jennifer have been preparing for the event even before the Hero Faceoff which was held at the MOA Arena. The 26-year-old Jennifer Ong joined Hero Faceoff with the intent of this being her last hurrah in the cosplay world before focusing on their family business back in Davao.
“I really made an effort during the last Faceoff. I wanted to go out with a bang for my last competition and I knew I had to do it right by finding the right partner,” Ong said, who was a prominent cosplayer in Davao during her early years. That partner would turn out to be 23-year-old Sarah Jane De Ocampo, whom Jennifer met back in college, a registered nurse who worked at the emergency department of a private hospital also in Davao.
“My contract with the hospital I was with reached its end and so I turned to costume-making for Hero because I really wanted to be a part of cosplay battles. I was really surprised that my ‘sempai’ (which means senior in Japanese) actually noticed me, and made me her partner for her “farewell” battle,” SJ said.
As for how they select which anime’ character to mirror and how they get to look like them, the two have a mantra. “We don’t just pick a character for the sake of picking one. We select a character that fits our personality and who we know we can really give a justice to when it’s performance time,” Ong said.
“As for our make-up, we try to do it on our own, that’s why we don’t have any make-up person with us going to the competition in Japan. We want to learn how to do it ourselves, since it makes it more fun,” SJ added.
“We hope everyone supports us. We’ll give our best to do the nation proud, and leave a mark to other countries as well. We’re going to give it our all just to get there,” the pair said to the press present.
The World Cosplay Summit is to be held at Nagoya, Japan this coming Saturday (August 1). For updates, visit www.facebook.com/myheronation.
