PH Film 'Shadow Behind the Moon' Wins 4 Major Awards in Russian Filmfest

Filipino film "Anino Sa Likod Ng Buwan" (Shadow Behind the Moon) has just won both the NETPAC Award (Asian Critics) and FIPRESCI award (International Critics) at the 13th Pacific Meridian International Film Festival in Vladivostok, Russia.

Aside from the two critics awards, the film also won Best Director for Jun Robles Lana and Best Actresss for kapuso star LJ Reyes.

156 movies by 120 filmmakers from 40 countries were presented during the festival, lasting from Sept. 12 to Sept. 18, 2015. This is the first time in the history of the festival that a film won both the NETPAC and FIPRESCI awards.
