Gilas Pilipinas trumped the basketball team from Qatar, 80-70 , during the second round of the eliminations of the 27th FIBA Asia Championship at the Mall of Asia Arena on Tuesday.

Philippines vs Qatar 20-20, 47-29, 63-44, 80-70.
The Philippines will next face Hong Kong while Qatar, which suffered its first loss in the tournament, will take on Chinese Taipei.
