Artists Who Sang the Philippine National Anthem in Pacman's Previous Fights
There's something about the singing of Philippine National Anthem before the boxing match of our Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao that brings out the nationalistic spirit of every Pinoy. Is it the way it's sung? Is it the artist? Is it the song composed by Julian Felipe? Or is it the anticipation of Pacquiao's bout that will bring honor to the country?
In Pacman's previous 10 bouts, all artists that sang the Lupang Hinirang were all female. Here they are:

ReplyDeleteIn my heart, I really wanted the current Pinoy Wonder Girl International Singing Sensation Charice Pempengco to sing the National Anthem in the Pacman's next fight. I completely respect the Pacman's next choice - Martin Nievera.

ReplyDeleteisang paglilinaw lamang po, kung hindi ako nagkakamali ang tempo ng ating pambansang awit ay isang martsa,bakit lahat ng umaawit nito lalo pa at sa ibang bansa ginagawa ay parang isang ballad? kailan po ba ito matutuwid? or iniba na po ba ang tempo nito mula sa orihinal na pagkakalapat ng himig o musika,ano po ang masasabi ng mga tao sa National Historical Institute?
ReplyDeletenicole i think is the BEsT among all who performed our National Anthem, Lupang Hinirang. She did it well and properly musically and legality speaking without many "vocal accesories" like what others did.

ReplyDeleteKayong mga fans ni Sarah, open your ears in reality. She is a good singer pero among these talented singers na kumanta ng national anthem sa laban ni Pacquiao, she's not the best. Nicole, Karylle and another one did better. I don't know these singers, nababasa ko lang at napapanood sa internet, but I watched Pacquiao's every fight. Purihin ang dapat purihin, nakaka-nose bleed kayong mga patal!
