Miss World 2011, the 61st edition of the pageant, will present a new format.
From the 113 contestants from around the world, 30 will remain as quarter-finalists. They will be cut into 15 semi-finalists, then 5 finalists. Then the new winner will be chosen.
The 5 Miss World Fast-track winners will no longer get automatic slots in the Top 30. However, they will earn points that will help them advance to the semi-finals. The points will be revealed at some point in the competition.
