El Gamma Penumbra Wins Asia's Got Talent, Gerphil Flores is 3rd

It’s a moment of pride for the Philippines as El Gamma Penumbra wins the biggest talent show in the world–Asia’s Got Talent. The shadow play group bested eight other grand finalists from across Asia via people's votes.

They won a cash prize amounting to US$100,000 and an opportunity to perform at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.
The six man band from Mongolia bagged 2nd Place while Filipina opera singer Gerphil Flores placed third. Junior New System was fifth while another pinoy act, Gwyneth Dorado, was among the 9 grand finalists.

Grammy-winning musician David Foster, Taiwanese superstar Vanness Wu, former Spice Girl Melanie C., and Indonesian songbird Anggun comprised the panel of judges throughout the competition.
