Vilma Santos Topbills the Indie Film 'Ekstra'
Star for All Seasons Gov. Vilma Santos stars in her first Indie film titled "Ekstra," a Cinemalaya 2013 entry by director Jeffrey Jeturian.
"Ekstra" (The Bit Player) is Gov. Vilma Santos' first independent film. It's helmed by multi-awarded filmmaker Jeffrey Jeturian, the director of the award-winning films "Pila Balde," "Kubrador," and "Tuhog," and one of the three directors of the top-rating daytime teleserye "Be Careful With My Heart."
The film features special appearances of Piolo Pascual, Eula Valdez, Cherie Gil, Ms. Pilar Pilapil, Richard Yap, and Marian Rivera.
