Nonito Donaire Knocks-Out Toshiaki Nishioka

Nonito Donaire, also known as the Filipino Flash, defeated Toshiaki Nishioka of Japan via TKO in the 9th round, his 29th consecutive win in a period of 11 years.



The rising Filipino boxer dominated the bout knocking down Nishioka during the 6th round. But it was in the 9th round when the referee stopped the bout and declared the victory to Donaire.

It's interesting to note that the Japanese boxer has already defeated 9 Filipino boxers in the past and his lost to Donaire was the first of his career.

Donaire's boxing record improves to 30 wins (19 knockouts) and with only 1 loss, while Toshiaki Nishioka's record has now 39 wins, 5 losses and 3 draws.
