'Jay' receieves Special Award in Mexico

After winning the Audience Award at the Black Movie Film Festival in Geneva Switzerland, the Cinemalaya movie "Jay" was honored this time in Mexico.

Francis Xavier Pasion’s Jay starring Coco Martin, and Baron Geisler was given a special recognition at the 6th Festival Internacional de Cine Contemporaneo dela Ciudad de Mexico (FICCO) in Mexico City, Mexico, from Feb. 7 to March 1.

Jay received the Otorga la Mencion Especial del Jurado in the fiction main competition.
